Guitar Guru is a musical education program which can teach you, step-by-step, how to play a guitar or other stringed instrument without the help of a paid tutor.
With it, you can control the pace at which you learn and adjust it to your own liking. In terms of instruments, you can change between guitar, bass guitar, cello and other stringed instruments. With that, you can also change the pitch.
The interface of Guitar Guru is customizable and can show more or less of what you're currently working on. It can also be customized based on whether the student is right- or left-handed.
The program is no longer being developed and the songs that were available are no longer up for purchase from the developer so if you use this program, you may be able to find alternatives elsewhere online.

Compatibility and License
Guitar Guru is provided under a freeware license on Windows from instrument software with no restrictions on usage. Download and installation of this PC software is free and 2.2.5 is the latest version last time we checked.
What version of Windows can Guitar Guru run on?
Guitar Guru can be used on a computer running Windows 11 or Windows 10. It runs on both 32-bit and 64-bit systems with no dedicated 64-bit download provided.
